Watring Technologies performs assembly, integration, and test of complex flight and ground hardware at its Huntsville, Alabama facility, under an AS9100D-certified quality management system. Our engineers and technicians take components and subassemblies through mechanical build-up, harness and cable installation, alignment, functional checkout, and acceptance test, supported by tooling and test infrastructure designed and built in-house.
Exploring
Integration problems are most often infrastructure problems. Before hardware arrives, Watring engineers determine how it will be handled, supported, aligned, and measured, then design and fabricate the tooling, fixtures, handling equipment, and test infrastructure the build will depend on. Developing this equipment in-house allows Watring to adapt quickly as hardware configurations change, which is routine on developmental programs and difficult to accommodate when tooling is sourced externally.
Innovating
Watring designs and builds the test infrastructure each program requires rather than adapting hardware to fit generic equipment. This includes handling and support equipment for integration, and purpose-built acceptance test setups. Testing is performed on-site at Watring's Huntsville facility, with key data collection points measured and captured in comprehensive test reporting.

Watring delivers assembled hardware verified against customer acceptance criteria and supported by complete test documentation. Because design, build, and test knowledge stays with a single team in a single facility, Watring also responds quickly when fielded hardware needs attention, receiving, diagnosing, repairing, and returning assets to service on timelines that are not achievable when those functions are divided among separate organizations.
