Dewey Granger
President, Watring Technologies
Dewey Granger serves as President of Watring Technologies, where he leads the company's strategic vision, operational execution, and growth initiatives. He is responsible for advancing Watring's position as a premier provider of innovative engineering and technology solutions while fostering a culture centered on integrity, collaboration, and customer success.
Dewey brings more than 35 years of executive leadership experience spanning the U.S. military and the defense industry. Throughout his career, he has successfully led complex organizations, developed high-performing teams, and driven strategic growth across defense, aerospace, missile defense, space, and advanced technology markets. His expertise includes corporate strategy, business development, operations, mergers and acquisitions support, capture management, and organizational transformation.
Prior to joining Watring, Dewey served as Chief Growth Officer for DESE Research, where he was responsible for corporate growth strategy, strategic partnerships, customer engagement, and business development. Before entering industry, he completed a distinguished military career with the U.S. Army, culminating in senior executive leadership positions supporting national security, missile defense, and space operations, including service as Chief of Staff for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command.
Throughout his career, Dewey has built a reputation for developing trusted customer relationships, leading organizational transformation, and aligning people, strategy, and execution to achieve exceptional results. He believes the foundation of great leadership is simple: always do what is legally, morally, and ethically right; treat every person with dignity and respect; and remember that leadership is ultimately about serving others.

Scott Kalfus
Director of Operations and Program Management
Scott Kalfus brings more than 31 years of aerospace engineering experience spanning the design, development, integration, and testing of complex aerospace and defense systems. Throughout his career, he has played key roles in some of the nation's most significant space, missile defense, and strategic weapons programs, delivering innovative engineering solutions in support of critical national security and space exploration missions.
Prior to joining Watring Technologies in 2025, Scott spent more than a decade with The Boeing Company and over 11 years with Lockheed Martin, where he supported a diverse portfolio of high-profile programs, including NASA's Artemis and Space Launch System (SLS), the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD), and precision strike systems such as HIMARS, ATACMS, and GMLRS.
At Watring Technologies, Scott leads engineering and technical initiatives that advance the company's commitment to delivering innovative, mission-focused solutions for defense and government customers. He is recognized for his collaborative leadership style, technical expertise, and ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through complex engineering challenges while maintaining an unwavering focus on quality, reliability, and mission success.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.


Nick Wyckoff
Chief Architect
Nick Wyckoff serves as Chief Engineer for Cimarron and Watring Technologies, where he leads the internal development of new technologies and prototypes while cultivating new business through technical partnerships. He provides technical oversight across all manufacturing of aerospace and defense systems, bringing a systems-level perspective to some of the most complex challenges in the industry.
Nick joined Cimarron in 2024 following nearly two decades at Boeing, where he earned distinction as a Member of the Boeing Technical Fellowship, a recognition reserved for the company's most accomplished engineers. At Boeing, he developed deep expertise in weapon system architecture, command and control, and model-based systems engineering, building a reputation as a trusted technical leader across programs of national significance.
With more than two decades of experience spanning both the space and defense sectors, Nick has made contributions across an exceptionally broad range of programs. He brings four years of NASA microgravity payload experience, having developed and flown science payloads aboard the KC-135, Space Shuttle, and International Space Station, accumulating nearly 800 parabolas and close to seven hours of operational zero-gravity flight time. In the defense industry, Nick supported the Missile Defense Agency and the Air Force, Navy, and Army across technology development and major test programs spanning the globe, with extensive experience in integrated air defense systems and hardening facilities against hostile threats of all types. He is also a proud member of the Honorable Order of St. Barbara.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the Johns Hopkins School of Engineering. His rare combination of hands-on flight experience, defense program depth, and systems engineering expertise makes him a cornerstone of Cimarron's technical leadership.


Rob Heber
Business Development Capture Lead
Rob Heber is a business development and strategic growth leader with more than 25 years of experience serving in elite U.S. Army Special Operations and intelligence organizations. Throughout his military career, he built high-performing teams, led complex operational initiatives and advanced innovative capabilities that strengthened mission readiness and modernized U.S. Army combat forces in support of national security objectives.
Drawing on extensive operational and leadership experience, Rob brings a mission-focused approach to identifying customer needs, building trusted relationships, and developing solutions that address today's evolving defense and intelligence challenges. His background provides a deep understanding of the operational requirements, acquisition environment, and strategic priorities of the U.S. Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. At Watring Technologies, Rob focuses on expanding strategic partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering innovative technology solutions that help government customers accomplish their most critical missions.
Rob recently earned his Master of Business Administration from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, further strengthening his expertise in strategy, leadership and organizational growth. He combines operational credibility with business acumen to help bridge customer requirements with innovative capabilities that deliver measurable mission success.
