While working at NASA, Watring Technologies’
Chief Scientist conducted original research in solid state
physics with emphasis on the growth and characterization of
semiconductors in space and in the presence of magnetic fields.
He was Co-Investigator of the space flight project, Growth
of solid solution single crystals, which is shown above in
the orbiter payload bay during the 4th United States Microgravity
Payload mission.
