Our customers conducting research on the
next-generation semiconductors challenge us on a daily basis
to manufacture custom hot zones for their crystal growth furnaces.
We use our simulators and start with the heat and mass transfer
in the growing crystal to design hot zones which will give
the desired thermal gradient to yield large-scale single crystals.
The figures above show a graphite crucible, 3 phase pancake
heater, and a 3 phase barrel heater.
