Numerical Modeling
Watring Technologies, Inc. is able to provide
analytical solutions to complex problems. When faced with
designing a custom piece of equipment which mandates complex
computer modeling we are able to provide this service to our
customers by developing macro iterative simulators that are
used in hardware design and process optimization. Each simulator
is tailor-made to the client's specific configuration and
materials application. Yet, it allows our engineers to change
the system geometry as well as the operating conditions in
order to converge on the best design for our customers. (Visit
our Products
page for examples where we have used our simulators to
design and fabricate complex scientific and industrial equipment.)
Our task-specific simulators integrate all
of the factors that control the performance of the system
into a user-friendly environment:
• Heat and Mass Transfer
• Fluid Flow
• Chemical Reactions
• Elastic and Plastic
Deformations
• Electromagnetic Couplings
• Property-Processing
Relationships
In addition to our in-house simulation tools,
we use a variety of third-party software packages. We are
not a software vendor, and therefore have no bias towards
any specific package. We choose the simulation tool that we
think is best suited for a given task. Some of the third-party
simulation software packages we have used in the past are
listed below:
Computer Aided Design
• AutoCAD
• I-DEAS
• Pro-Engineer
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• ANSYS-FLOTRAN
• CAPESIM
• FIDAP
• FLUENT
• PHEONICS
Solid Mechanics
• ABAQUS
• ANSYS
• NASTRAN
• STARDYNE
• WORKING MODEL
Electro-Magnetics
• ANSOFT
• ANSYS-EMAG
