Dale
Watring, PhD

Dale possesses a Ph.D. and MS in Mechanical
Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
While at MIT he specialized in heat and mass transfer for
high temperature process furnaces. As President & CEO for
WTI, he serves as an expert technical authority and consultant
with responsibility for providing overall leadership and technical
direction to specialists performing pioneering development
work in science and engineering. His previous experience includes
serving as Deputy Chief, Microgravity Sciences and Applications
Division at NASA, where he was responsible for the supervision
of scientists performing original research in materials processing,
high temperature furnace design, protein crystal growth, biotechnology,
microgravity physics, and the development of scientific instrumentation
for space applications.
Dale has published over 30 research articles
in various scientific journals and is co-chairman of the International
Conference on Solidification and Gravity held in Miskolc,
Hungary, every three years.

Watring

Lisa is focused on assuring the customer
is the top priority. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary
education and an associate degree in general education. Her
previous work experiences include Lockheed Space Operations
Company at Kennedy Space Center in Florida and Intergraph
Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama.
Lisa devotes time and continuous support
to various community, civic, educational, and professional
organizations. She currently serves on the boards of the Women’s
Business Council, Fantasy Children's Theater, CAJA Friends,
and FOCAL. She is an active member of the Huntsville/Madison
County Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Economic Development
Council (WEDC), and Huntsville/Madison County Leadership Program.
She is co-chair of WEDC’s Leadership Training. Mrs.
Watring currently serves as a TUMC Lay Leadership Team Member.
She is involved in Fantasy Children’s Theater, Huntsville
Hospital Volunteer Program, and the Academy for Academics
and Arts.
